First of all we want to send out a big THANKS to everyone who voted for Lulu. She is definitely Top Dog in our house.
Lulu starts her day by chasing bunnies, lizards and birds out of our yard. She has actually caught 4 bunnies in her little life…so far. We can’t believe how fast she is. Now if we suspect there are bunnies in the yard we have to put her on a leash for protection. Hers and theirs, as we don’t want her to follow them up into the hills and never come back. She barks at Coyotes and makes such a ruckus when she spies a snake. Thankfully she is smart enough not to go too close to them. Such bravery in such a little dog.
After she secures the yard she usually takes a nap with her new little sister, Mindy. Yes, that is right. We purchased another little love from Chesedachs and named her after Mindy. She fits right in here and Lulu is teaching her the ropes.
Lulu is one of the smartest dogs we have ever had. We taught her to ring some bells that we have hung by the door to let us know when she wants outside. As you can see from the pictures, she is baffled as to why Mindy wants to bite them. But eventually we are sure Lulu will get the idea across to baby sis.
On cold winter days you can find Lulu by the fire. We have had bigger dogs that wouldn’t go near the fireplace when a fire was burning, but Lulu is fearless. She loves it.
